LIVERPOOL FC NEW KITS FOR 2018/19 SEASON – REVIEW -The Retro Look Is Back.

THE LIVERPOOL FC NEW KITS FOR THE 2018/2019 SEASON PRODUCTS OVERVIEW.

LFC-HOME KIT-2018/19

THE HOME KIT:

COLOUR: RED PEPPER

SIZES: ALL SIZES AVAILABLE

PRICE: £57.59

MADE BY: NEW BALANCE

RATING 10/10

This kit is also called a deep red colour with white trim on the logo and sponsors writing and includes a retro collar with v- neck white trim, as a reminder of the 1984 European Cup Final Triumph over Roma.

It also honours the victims of the Hillsborough disaster with a 96 embroidered on the back.

“This kit reminds us of the past, and events that have made Liverpool the club it is today” New Balance football’s General manager.

The kit is made with the latest techonology, giving it a look that is visually stunning and also performs at the highest level.

The slogan used on the release of this kit is “it means more”.  For many fans this is true, Liverpool does mean more to them than any thing else.  A good bit of PR from the marketing executives I think.

The new home goalkeeper kit is in bold yellow, with black patterned sleeves matching the black embroidered logo and crest.

I have given this kit full marks ( a rare thing) for the design and feel.  It looks amazing and stylish with a quality finish to it.

“We feel immensly proud when pulling on

the Liverpool FC Home Shirt Our kit isn’t

just something we wear to play,

it’s part of who we are as a team”

A quote from team captain Jordan Henderson  about the new home kit

THE AWAY KIT:

COLOUR: PURPLE

SIZES: ALL SIZES AVAILABLELFC-AWAY KIT-2018/19

PRICE: £59.94

MADE BY: NEW BALANCE

RATING: 9/10

The away kit for the upcoming season is visually appealing with a deeper violet shade in colour with darker purple shoulders and orange branding on the badge and all the key writing on the kit.  The violet shade was first introduced on the Liverpool 3rd kit in the 2012/13 season.

It is a striking alternative to the much beloved Home kit.

The inspiration for the graphics on the shirt are taken from the architecture on the main stand at the ground.

The goalkeeper away shirt  has been designed in line with the outfield players’ jerseys, it is green with black patterned sleeves, embroidered logo and crest on it.

I have given this kit a 9 out of 10, simply due to the fact that it takes some time to get used to the colour of it.

I do think the orange on the shirts definitely makes it looks visually striking.

“We have the best away support in the Country

and I am excited to wear this kit when

we run out infront of them this season”

                                                                           said defender Virgil Van Dijk

THE 3RD KIT:

COLOUR: GREY

SIZES:ALL SIZES AVAILABLELFC-PLAYERS-IN 3RD KIT

PRICE: £56.34

MADE BY:NEW BALANCE

RATING: 9/10

Liverpool became the first club to use the PSE  video game graphics to launch the new kit.  It was launched via the footage of Pro Evo 19 video game.  This was done ahead of the new game released in August.

The jersey also features racing red detail on the shoulder panels, a red crest and NB logo, as well as a crew neck collar with insert.

This kit was inspired by the Kenny Dalglish title winning side 1989/90.  A record 18th league title at the time.

The  goalkeeper’s third shirt has been made in line with the outfield players’ jerseys and is a bold pink glo with black patterned sleeves and black embroidered logo and crest.  The kit is completed with pink glo shorts and socks, with a black cuff to the lower sock.

“This kit has a really strong look about it

I cant wait to play infront of the fans wearing it”

                                                         Liverpool forward Sadio Mane said

CAN THESE 3 KITS BRING SUCCESS?

LFC 3 KITS FOR SEASON 2018/19

The design and looks of all 3 kits from the red pepper look of the home, to the grey of the 3rd kit then throw into the mix the striking contrast of the purple away kit as well, gives the season an exciting look and feel about it for the fans.

Will the kits that are stylish and built for high quality performance at the highest level, transmit into the performances on the field?

In my opinion these kits are made for success, if the players feel this when they put them on, then who knows it just might be a winning season for Liverpool FC.

  1. Hi Florence.  Thank you for the comments. Just like you I had a son who was just not into soccer or sport, and I found they only way is to get them outside in the park with a ball or bat. The fresh air and exercise does something to the brain, in a good way.

I they are interested in Xbox and gamming, just like mine tempt them in saying you will get them the latest game or something else, if they go and try Football with a team for the next 6 weeks. It some becomes addictive and most importantly a new habit is formed.

I would recommend taking them to your local team and get them to integrate as early as possible. It is always awkward at first and they will give you grief, Things like I hate it and I don’t want to go.

This is the key you must be dedicated and keep taking them to practice and when they realise they are meeting new friends and having fun then things do change.

Good luck and let me know if your son does get into sport.

It is a wonderful thing and brings many hours of joy and happiness.

    Best wishes

    Matthew

  2. I am never into football but love to watch World Cup. In fact I would like to get my son into fooball but just not able to impress him with anything related. The kit shown on your page is very impressive. Seems like you are a football expert. Is there anyway I can get my son into this sport? What is the best way to interest him?
